stocked, accessible first aid kit. It allows you to provide
immediate care to those in need and, if necessary, until other
help arrives. It is important to review your
kits periodically --an empty kit is useless in an
emergency.

bring major devastation for many days even after they have passed.
Most Disaster Assistance Plans developed by both civilian
organizations and municipalities take about 3 days to get underway
and begin giving assistance to those in need. That means you may
have to be to sustain yourself after a major
disaster or emergency.
