StoveTop Cooker 
Solar StoveTop cooker or "hot plate."  The base is made form 1/8" cardboard with mylar reflectors.  This cooker weighs 3 pounds and will get 650 degrees F within minutes.  You can fry, steam vegetables, poach, perk coffee, or make pizza in 20-30 minutes.

 



 

 

 

Solar Oven
The solar oven is made of 3/4" plywood with 1" insulation.  Mylar is glued to poster board for the reflectors and 1/4" tempered glass for the window.

The oven will get 375 to 400 degrees F in 45 minutes.  Total cost around $25.  A commercial oven that will reach the same temperature will cost $270.00.
